Two pop up events will be organized on Karelia University of Applied Sciences’ campuses in connection with Mental Health Day. The events aim to raise awareness of mental health and wellbeing, highlight available support services and make it easier for students to seek help. They also offer an opportunity to meet others and strengthen a sense of community and safety in everyday student life.
Event times and locations
– Tuesday, 6 October 2026, 10:30–12:30: Tikkarinne Campus, Building E lobby
– Thursday, 8 October 2026, 10:30–12:30: Wärtsilä Campus, main lobby
During the events, students can learn more about support services and mental health-related topics, meet the organisers and take a moment to connect with others. The events are designed to remind everyone that support is available, no one has to face challenges alone and everyone deserves to feel cared for.
Welcome to join us, connect with others and promote wellbeing together on campus!
Organizers
The events are organised in collaboration with Student Union POKA of Karelia University of Applied Sciences, the Crisis Centre, study welfare officers and the parish center. The activities are part of the joint work of the well-being working group.
