The nomination period for the supplementary elections has ended, and three new members have been elected to the Council of Representatives of the Student Union POKA at Karelia University of Applied Sciences.
At its meeting on 16 March, the Central Election Committee of the Student Union determined that in the previously announced supplementary elections, the same number of candidates stood for election as there were available seats (3). Therefore, according to Section 11 of the Election Regulations, the election was conducted as an uncontested election.
The following persons were elected to the Council of Representatives:

Election Regulations, Section 23 – Appeal
A member of the Student Union may contest the conduct of the election, the approval of candidates or eligible voters, or the vote counting within three (3) months of the publication of the election result. The appeal must be addressed to the Central Election Committee and submitted in writing.
The Central Election Committee will respond to the appeal in writing within one (1) month. The appeal and the written response of the Central Election Committee will be presented to the Council of Representatives for information at the next meeting.
